Beauty Product Development & Enkos Bespoke Beauty Solutions

Bernadette Jackson, founder of Beauty Product Development, approached Design Plus on behalf of Dr Nyla with the aim of formulating and producing a premium targeted skincare range.

Once requirements had been discussed, we enlisted the expertise of our partner innovation team Enkos Bespoke Beauty Solutions to kickstart the formulation development process.

Working collaboratively

Enkos meticulously followed the brief ensuring all ingredients were carefully considered and selected to work simultaneously creating high quality, high performing end results.

Following sample approval and testing, products were then blended, filled, assembled and packed at Design Plus.

What were the challenges?

Gathering componentry did cause some delays due to current global supply chain issues and longer lead times, however this was monitored closely by Bernadette at Beauty Product Development, who liaised with Design Plus to ensure this was managed seamlessly and efficiently.

Driving sustainability

With sustainability being a key driver for many brands, Dr Nyla Skincare is no exception. From the packaging down to the ingredients, the finished products have been crafted with the planet and sustainability in mind, which lead to the decision to produce refillable packaging, with each having a refill version available.

As a result, collaboratively we produced three products across 6 SKU’s which included the shelf-ready product and the refill product.

Rejuvenating Night Cream – 50ml
Radiance Day Cream SPF20 – 50ml
Illuminate Eye Cream – 15ml

After the successful launch of the range, Dr Nyla is set to introduce new products with the help of both Enkos and Design Plus.
